The Waterflow Rescue
Six horses were seized by the NMLB on July 25th, 2012 by the New Mexico Livestock Board.  The horses are now at Animal Haven Clinic in Farmington, NM where they will be evaluated and begin the long road to recovery.  Based on the extent of the neglect of their feet, some of them will require almost a year to rehabilitate.  The owner has been charged with 6 counts of animal cruelty.  The horses remain in the custody of the state until either the owner agrees to surrender them or the judge takes away ownership in a Disposition Hearing.  While these horses case winds through the justice system they will remain in the care of Four Corners Equine Rescue.  Any help you can provide to offset the expenses of getting these horses on the road to a new home will be greatly appreciated.

Please check back for more information as this case develops and for updates on the condition of these horses.
