Horses on this page 2 years old or younger. Although too young to ride, if you are looking for a horse to train yourself, this may be the place to go. Please contact adoptions@fourcornersequinerescue.org if you have questions about any of the horses.

Blake
All decked out in his winter coat! Blake is a cute little guy. Although somewhat timid, he is curious and will eventually come to investigate. Blake is a colt, but will be gelded in March. He will mature to about 14.1 hh. Current on vaccinations and deworming.

Kate
Our pretty little Kate. Wonder what color she will be when she sheds out in the spring? Red roan, we think. She is very people friendly, and loves attention. Although not halter trained yet, it won't take much for this smart girl. She is a smaller horse, and should mature to about 14.1 HH. Good confirmation, and very bright!
Adoption Fee for Kate is $250
Little Darling
Little Darling is a cute little filly that is somewhat reserved with people. Her Mom, Pretty Lady, was abuses and is very leery, so Darling follows Mom's lead. She is a nice foal with good confirmation, though and should be a nice trail horse someday. She needs someone willing to give her special attention and be patient with her. Little Darling should mature to about 14.3HH. She was born in April of 2011 as far as we know. Her mom had her at the Sale Barn and was in the slaughter pen. Little Darling is current on shots and deworming.
Adoption Fee for Little Darling is $250
Macey
This young lady has the corner on CHUNKY! She is going to be quite a powerhouse when she grows up. Macey is now a yearling, the daughter of Brandy, whom FCER rescued from the slaughter pen at a sale barn. Macey is a striking liver chestnut with just enough chrome. She should mature to about 14.3 HH. Macey halters, leads, Loves to be brushed and is current on vaccinations and deworming.
Adoption Fee for Macey is $250
Trooper
And what a Trooper he is! When he first came to us as a foal, Trooper had a huge wound in his hindquarters. Extensive treatment included stitches, cleanings and stall confinement. Although he had never been haltered before, Trooper took it all in stride. Now a big 2 year old, Trooper is still an easy going, playful guy. He halters, leads, loads, stands for the farrier and loves people. Trooper will mature to be a big horse with good bone, about 16 HH and 1000 lbs. He is a beautiful red roan with a blaze. Click here to see more on Trooper's story.
Adoption Fee for Trooper is $250
Sunshine
Our own little ray of Sunshine. The name says it all for this little girl. Sunshine is a bright, cooperative yearling filly that has tons of potential. She is shown in the photo with her Mom, Missy, whom FCER pulled from the slaughter pen at the sale barn. Sunshine should mature to about 15 HH and be stocky. She has been haltered, and is UTD on deworming and vaccinations.
Adoption Fee for Sunshine is $250
Leggo
He is all legs, this young man. Leggo is the son of Bonnie, whom FCER rescued from the slaughter pen at a sale barn. Now a yearling, Leggo is tall for his age, and should mature to about 16 hands. He is black, and we think has a lot of TB in him. Leggo is halter trained and quite handleable. He will make someone an awesome ride!
Adoption Fee for Leggo is $250
Morning Dove
A bright and shiny young lady, Morning Dove was born here at FCER after we rescued her Mom, Chickadee, from the slaughter pen at a sale barn. Dove is an inquisitive, bold and confident yearling now. This filly will be an awesome trail partner when she is older. Dove is UTD on vaccinations, deworming and hoof trims. She leads and finds cookies in your pocket too! As an added bonus - she is gaited, like her Mama.
Adoption fee for Morning Dove is $250
Darby
Our beautiful Darby was just a baby when we rescued him and his Mom, Emerald from the slaughter pen at the sale barn. He is a handsome yearling now! Darby is a curious, mischievous child and needs plenty of interacting with people. He has a lovely trot, as you can see. He should mature to about 15 HH. We think he is a quarter/TB cross. Darby is gelded, UTD on vaccinations, deworming and stands for the farrier. He also leads and loads.
Adoption fee for Darby is $250
